It is primarily space saving that argues in favor of sliding time and time again, regardless of whether it is on furniture or in the interior design, because when they are open, doors and front panels simply don’t get in the way. At the Interzum from May 20 to 23 in Cologne, Hawa will now be providing furniture manufacturers and interior designers with additional arguments for the use of sliding solutions on Booth C038 in Hall 7.1. With the new pivot and folding/slide-in hardware for convertible furniture fronts, these arguments are the wide range of variants and the efficient support during implementation. In interior design, sliding solutions with sound attenuation make an uncompromising contribution to improving quality of life.
Convertible furniture fronts are all the rage. Hawa has developed the “Hawa Concepta III” hardware family to implement them. The latest generation of pivot and folding/slide-in hardware is based on a well-thought-out movement sequence: Pivoting, folding, sliding in at the side and disappearing in a space-saving way, a gentle nudge to bring them out and intuitive closing to create a flush furniture front.
Hawa has combined complex movement sequences such as these in a hardware system which comes into the limelight as the basis for the variant-rich design of furniture fronts. Single door, two door and multi-door solutions can be created with “Hawa Concepta III” and “Hawa Folding Concepta III” independently of the door height and width, either with or without a separating wall, floor to ceiling and walk-in or for the composed cabinet, as a Pull solution with a handle or as a handle-less Push solution, either inlaid or overlaid.
Fabricators may be interested in the fact that the hardware of the “Hawa Concepta III” family can be installed effortlessly, which is thanks to its high degree of pre-assembly. Hawa will be demonstrating live at Interzum how quickly and intuitively the three components and 15 screws can be installed, and how the logically positioned and easily accessible adjustment points make it easier to adjust.
“Because tranquility is a luxury”
In the interior design area, the Swiss hardware specialist has initiated a “Privacy” campaign, which is devoted to the everyday stress which people are often unaware of and is almost impossible to avoid. This stress also includes noise, unpleasant or even unhealthy odors and drafts, and overstimulation caused by too much light or light that is excessively dazzling. Tranquility has become a luxury. With its sliding solutions with sound attenuation, Hawa has now put interior fitters in a position to create the structural prerequisites for individual retreats and comfort zones, which can then always flexibly be used as and when the user’s personal situation requires it. In this way, space-saving slides can now be combined with impressive comfort characteristics.
