As much light as possible, as little technology as necessary. This aspect of modern home interior design provided the inspiration for developing 20-metre long, low-voltage strips (24V DC) that can be cut every five centimetres and for which D-Leuchten has initially secured the sales rights in Europe. The department of D-Beschlag GmbH, Luckenwalde, has specialised in LED lighting solutions and controlling them for use in furniture-making and interior design. The products score in terms of luminous efficiency, colour rendering and finish. On its stand A 51 in hall 7 at Interzum from 16 to 19 May 2017 in Cologne, the company is demonstrating the flexibility with which rooms and furniture as well as building exteriors can be set off with the „D-Flexi 20“.
„D-Flexi 20“ is mainly used wherever indirect light or, in visible form, opal diffusers are to be used for highlighting extended sections in interior design. They can be cut every five centimetres, adapting to any interior design with effortless ease. Longer than normally found on the market, its length of 20 metres comes with the advantage that even over long distances only one ballast is needed for feeding in power and controlling light.
Additional benefit: the strips work on extra-low voltage; this enhances their versatility and, compared with the hitherto conventional high-voltage strips, reduces potential hazards in the event of direct contact. Consumers benefit from a high degree of colour authenticity. Using LEDs, D-Leuchten achieves a colour rendering index (CRI) of 90 and higher. With 120 LEDs per metre, the strips also provide a high level of luminous efficiency.
